MFAM Gauntlet Warzone: Nickmercs' success

MFAM Gauntlet Warzone by Nickmercs has overtaken Call of Duty League 2020 in terms of statistics. Today we’ll discuss how he has achieved such success.

Initially, Nickmercs organized his tournaments on his own, and Activision noted the potential of his idea. They’ve decided to support the event, and, thanks to that, MFAM Gauntlet Warzone changed its format and increased its prize pool to $100,000.

One of the reasons for such success is the participants. Such sports stars and performers as Josh Hart, Megan Anderson, and Desiigner participated in the event along with streamers.

Moving on to the June statistics. Besides Nickmercs, more than 70 streamers were broadcasting the event. MFAM Gauntlet Warzone June Main Event has collected 605K Peak Viewers and 1,5M Hours Watched.

Vikkstar123 became the second streamer by popularity. He made the biggest impact on YouTube broadcasts by collecting 45K viewers at the peak.

TimTheTatman is right behind him with the difference of only 1,1K Peak Viewers.

Apart from 285K English-speaking viewers, 25K French-speaking fans watched the battle in Verdansk. That’s mostly because of Gotaga. Moreover, 3,1K viewers from Spanish broadcasts fully belong to Flexz.

July event was quite worse in terms of statistics, and the reason is a smaller amount of streamers, who broadcast the event, only - 59.

The peak concluded 271K viewers and the Hours Watched - 918K. But, we should consider the fact, that the July event was on air for 4 hours less.

Vikkstar123 remained in the second position and collected 56K viewers. Sadly, TimTheTatman didn’t improve his results - 44K viewers at the peak.

Gotaga didn’t participate in the Gauntlet, so there were only 6K French-speaking viewers, and almost all of them watched the broadcast because of Chowh1.

The Spanish-speaking audience increased again - 4,7thanks to Flexz again.

With the new format, the amount of viewers has slightly reduced, but MFAM Gauntlet Warzone still leads in statistics.

If you compare the event with the official Call of Duty League 2020, MFAM Gauntlet Warzone gathers 2x peak viewers more. So the efforts of Nickmercs have definitely paid off and, in addition to the success of his tournament, he became the top-1 streamer of Warzone.
