The VCT 2023: Pacific League got underway on March 25, and over the weekend, it managed to pull in quite the viewership numbers. It is on course to become the most popular Valorant Champions Tour event held in Asia/Pacific (Peak Viewers); it also has a chance to challenge the most popular Valorant tournament in this region.

At the end of the first two days, four teams had one win each (DRX, Team Secret, Paper Rex, T1), while the four losers were Global Esports, DetonatioN FocusMe, Talon Esports, ZETA DIVISION. Two sides — Gen.G Esports and Rex Regum Qeon — were yet to start their campaigns in this $250,000 prize pool event.

When compared to the best VCT events to date in the Asia/Pacific region, it is in the second spot currently but is rapidly catching up on the numero uno position held by the VCT 2022: Japan Stage 2 Challengers that did 291K PV for the series between ZETA DIVISION and Northeption.

When it comes to all Valorant events in this region, this VCT 2023 International League is again in the hunt for the number one competition, the Crazy Raccoon Cup #2 from February 2022. An online Japanese show match organized by the Japanese esports organization Crazy Raccoon, it did 314K PV, 225K AV, and 2.5M HW while grabbing 8.08M views.

With the Regular Season going on till May 16, there is still lots of time for teams to climb up and down the table before the top six to make the Playoffs are decided. In the meantime, fans will hope that the VCT 2023: Pacific League breaks the viewerships records for its region among VCT and Valorant competitions.
