In terms of the average viewers, the first spot is held by Korean SK Telecom T1 with an unbelievable indicator of 1 million 683 thousand people. Second place is no less legendary team Fnatic — the first-ever Champions of League of Legends gathered 1 million 428 thousand average viewers.
Interesting enough that Top-5 five most popular teams of 2019 World Championship do not include the actual winners — FPX is in the sixth spot, less than any other Chinese team.
The runner-ups G2 Esports found themselves one spot lower than Fnatic, even despite the participation of “samurais” in the finals, as well as in other highly popular matches of the tournament.
On the other side, if we recalculate the rankings based on the hours watched, then G2 gets the first spot. There is no surprise that the first two spots are occupied by the participants of the final match. Note that another team from Korea DAMWON Gaming also appears in the ranking, but we have to highlight that the guys have begun their LoL Worlds 2019 journey with a preliminary stage, and as a result had an additional BO5 match.
