From March 1 to 23, the ePremier League 2025 champions took place in the United Kingdom. Esports teams from all the British top football clubs took part in the main virtual football league for EA Sports FC 25. The champion was Manchester City — they triumphed over Brighton & Hove Albion, securing a spot in the FC Pro 25 World Championship.Tekkz and Matias from Manchester City / Photo: infinityfc.net  Tekkz and Matias from Manchester City / Photo: infinityfc.net

The Manchester City team has claimed the ePremier League championship for the second consecutive season — they also won the title in 2024, with Brighton once again their final opponent. The total prize pool for the ePremier League 2025 was $130,000, and the finalists also secured spots in the eChampions League.

ePremier League 2025 - Final Viewership Statistics

In terms of viewership, the ePremier League 2025 broadcasts reached a peak of 49,809 viewers — the highest for the football series since the ePremier League Invitational 2020. The average viewership across the streams was just over 25,000 viewers. English was the primary language for the broadcasts, and Twitch was the dominant streaming platform, accounting for over 66% of the total viewing hours throughout the tournament. YouTube’s share was only half of that.

The ePremier League 2025 matches were broadcast on about 20 different channels across Twitch, YouTube, and Kick. Among the standout channels were the official Premier League, Liverpool FC, and Sky Sports channels, but the EA Sports FC esports channels drew the largest audience.

The dates and location for the FC Pro 25 World Championship have not been finalized yet, but it is expected to take place in the summer, similar to last year's tournament. The championship will feature the top 32 players from various national leagues and the FC Pro Open tournaments, all competing for a share of the $1,000,000 prize pool.
