South American teams are most popular from ESL Impact League Season 4 qualifiers
The qualifiers for the ESL Impact League Season 4 have concluded, and the eight participants have been confirmed. Despite the European division getting the most slots, the American competitions continue to pull in the most viewers, especially the LATAM teams.
Four regional leagues take place leading up to the main event — Asian, South American, North American, and European. Here's a detailed look at their viewership stats and what to expect from the series launched in 2022 to promote female Counter-Strike at the competitive level.

The ESL Impact League Season 4: South American Division was the best-performing league among the four, proving just how valuable the region is to Counter-Strike esports thanks to the level of support and love fans have for it. It registered 91K Hours Watched, 20K Peak Viewers, and 2.2K Average Viewers over 41 hours of airtime, easily the best numbers among the qualifying events.
This was the only competition to do above 50K HW and 10K PV, mostly thanks to the presence of big-ticket organizations like FURIA, Fluxo, and MIBR. It also helped that the first two names, two of the biggest to come out of Brazil in all disciplines, were the final two and will now represent the region and country at the LAN Finals.

These numbers have more or less been in keeping with the general trend in this CS2 series, which has slowly but surely given women a platform to showcase their talents on a global stage and compete against the best the discipline has to offer. Of course, the most followed regions like the Americas and Europe and the participation of prominent organizations have helped in this journey.
When looking at the viewership numbers in the entire series, the very first season remains the most successful in terms of watch time and popularity. A trend emerging is the success of European and South American tournaments, as they are seen more often near the top of the list of both tables.
With highly sought-after sides like NAVI, Nigma Galaxy, Fluxo, and Furia Esports set to battle it out, the ESL Impact League Season 4 has a chance to put up numbers that challenge these other CS2 competitions near the top of the leaderboard. It will be held at the Feria Valencia convention center in Valencia, Spain, from December 8 to 10 and involve eight teams in total.
The main event will carry a pretty hefty prize pool of $123K, with the winner and runner-up getting $50K and $25K, respectively. This makes it the highest-paying CS2 event in the women's segment, and a good performance from the participants can go a long way in helping the discipline catch up with its more successful rival — Valorant.
