A Mobile Legends: Bang Bang tournament was at the top of the most popular competitions list last month, having also topped the January standings. The MPL Indonesia Season 11 notched 1.7 million Peak Viewers, achieved during the match between RRQ and EVOS Legends. Unsurprisingly, Indonesian was the main language, registering 1.3 million PV.

The VCT 2023: LOCK//IN São Paulo was the second most preferred event of February, registering 883K PV for the match-up between NRG and LOUD. Despite FPS games being big among Brazilian audiences, Portuguese was only the second most popular language with 312K PV.
In third place was the IEM Katowice 2023, a surprisingly popular event this year, with 726K PV for the Grand Finals clash between G2 Esports and Heroic. It was the former’s first success at the tournament after three previous losses in the finals, two to Natus Vincere and one to FaZe Clan.

League of Legends finally found a place on this list at fourth place, with the LCK Spring 2023 getting 715K PV across February, thanks to the peak match between T1 and Gen.G. These two also ended up being the most popular teams in terms of HW and Average Viewers, so it was no wonder their match from Week 2 Day 4 ended up pulling the most concurrent viewers.
Rounding off the top five was another LoL competition, the LEC Winter 2023, which notched its PV of 572K during the Playoffs Grand Finals between G2 and MAD Lions. Spanish and French were big gainers from this event, which was the first to be held in the revamped format for the European, Middle East, and North African (EMEA) regions.

In terms of only English-speaking viewers, the IEM Katowice 2023 was on top, registering 443K PV for the February 12 meeting between G2 and Heroic. In fact, the language claimed 62.3% of the total HW during the entire event.
In second place was the VCT 2023: LOCK//IN São Paulo, which saw 426K PV for the match between Sentinels and Fnatic. With both teams highly sought after among European and American audiences, this was not really a surprise.
The MPL Indonesia Season 11 came in third among English viewers with 418K PV for the series between RRQ and EVOS Legends. Considering these two sides were the most watched in terms of HW and AV, their place atop the PV list was almost a given for the tournament.
The LEC Winter 2023 came next with a peak concurrent viewers number of 326K for the G2 versus MAD Lions bout. The language overall did much better in terms of AV from the two splits last year, showing that there is a market for the new season with its new rules and regulations.
Propping up the podium places was the Call of Duty League 2023: Stage 2 Major, which put up 300K PV for the Los Angeles Thieves and OpTic Texas Elimination Round 4 match. English was more or less the only language fans preferred for this event, with other languages barely registering noteworthy PV numbers.

The English broadcast channel for ESL’s IEM Katowice 2023 was the most watched on this leaderboard, notching 295K PV for the series pitting G2 and Heroic against each other. It seems there was a lot of interest in this match, perhaps to see if the former would finally end their bad streak in the finals of this tournament, and G2 made it worth it for fans who tuned in from across the world.
Another English handle comes in second, as the LEC Winter 2023 saw 211K PV for the meeting between G2 and MAD Lions. The latter being a Spanish side, and with the language doing well overall in this event, must have played a part in this match being so much in demand.
Next comes tarik’s channel that streamed the VCT 2023: LOCK//IN São Paulo, with the most-watched match between Sentinels and Fnatic notching 190K PV. The former CS:GO pro-turned-Valorant streaming superstar regularly notches high numbers thanks to his loyal fanbase, so he often makes such lists.
The Call of Duty English channel did 162K PV for the Call of Duty League 2023: Stage 2 Major Winners Final between Atlanta FaZe and Minnesota RØKKR. The former went on to win the whole thing, clinching $200,000 and 65 CDL Points.
Lastly, legendary ex-CoD e-athlete scump completed a double for his esport on this chart with 137K PV for the match between Los Angeles Thieves and OpTic Texas, which he co-hosted.
