Legendary Danish esports pro Peter ‘’dupreeh’’ Rasmussen has officially announced his retirement from professional Counter-Strike. He shared the news with fans ahead of the grand final at BLAST.tv Austin Major 2025, where he appeared as a special guest and analyst.

32-year-old dupreeh holds two unmatched records in Counter-Strike history. He’s the only player to have won five Valve Majors: four with Astralis and one with Team Vitality. He also leads all Counter-Strike pros in total prize earnings, having brought in over $2.23 million across his career.

Dupreeh began his professional Counter-Strike career in 2012, playing for teams like Copenhagen Wolves, Team Dignitas, and Team SoloMid. However, his most iconic run came between 2017 and 2019 as part of Astralis’s legendary lineup, one of the most dominant rosters in CS history.
