The latest regional qualifiers for The International 2022 for Western Europe and Southeast Asia ended on September 17. In a new article, Esports Charts hastens to tell you about the results of these qualifiers and their viewership statistics.

TI 2022 Western Europe Qualifier

Entity became the champion of Western European qualifier and participant of TI 2022 main event. Note that on the way to the desired slot at the main Dota 2 tournament of the year, Dmitry Fishman Polishchuk's team defeated Alliance, Team Secret, Team Liquid and again Team Secret, without losing a single map. Secret and Liquid took 2nd and 3rd place in these qualifiers, respectively, and advanced to the Last Chance Qualifier.

The Western Europe qualifying tournaments accumulated 9.6 million Hours Watched with almost 151.2K Average Viewers. The event’s Peak Viewers number reached 342.7K during the final of the lower bracket: it is the highest result among all the qualifiers. The Grand Final of the Western Europe Qualifiers generated over 285.3K Peak Viewers, ranking the fourth place among the most watched tournament matches.

Team Secret matches accumulated 51% of qualifiers’ Hours Watched and games of the team were watched by 204K Average Viewers. Brame, Nigma Galaxy, Entity and Liquid were also among the top 5 most popular teams of the event.

TI 2022 Southeast Asia Qualifier

Talon Esports was the strongest team of the TI 2022 Southeast Asia Qualifier. The team made it to the qualifiers’ grand final without a single loss, defeating Lilgun, Polaris Esports, and T1. But the decisive match for the slot at The International 11 against Polaris Esports ended with a score 3:2. Thus, Talon Esports advanced to the main stage of TI 2022, while Polaris and T1 will try their luck in the Last Chance Qualifier.

The TI 2022 Southeast Asia Qualifier’s broadcasts accumulated more than 5 million Hours Watched with 86.7K Average Viewers. The event’s Peak Viewers number was nearly 288.4K viewers and was reached during the final of the lower bracket between T1 and Talon, the second-highest result of any regional qualifiers of TI 2022. The Grand Final of the qualifiers accumulated 275.8K Peak Viewers and became the second most popular match of the tournament.

T1 became the most popular team of the qualifier, its matches generated 172K Average Viewers. At the same time, the gap by this metric from the nearest pursues, Talon Esports, was almost 40%. Polaris, RSG and XctN were also among the top five teams by Average Viewers.

The last two participants of The International 2022 will be determined by the Last Chance Qualifier tournament results which will take place on October 8-12 in Singapore. The teams that took 2-3 places in the regional qualifiers will compete for the remaining slots on TI 11. The main stage of The International 2022 will be held on October 15-30.
