The League stage of an online tournament, which started on February 14th, ran until day 2 of the tournament's second week before it got postponed indefinitely by the organizer.

As a top-level PUBG Mobile competition in the CIS region, the PMPL CIS features 20 teams from across the region, with the majority of players being from Russia and Ukraine, including Vitus.pro, Natus Vincere, Team Unique and KDV Esports

Natus Vincere, which competes in both circuits, commented on the situation:

NAVI comments on Russian invasion in Ukraine

Russia launched the invasion of Ukraine on Thursday morning as an escalation of the ongoing Russo-Ukrainian War that began in 2014. At the time of writing this article, dozens of Ukrainian soldiers have been reported killed and thousands of Ukrainians have fled the country or have been displaced. The West has largely condemned the invasion and has called for Russia to stop the war.

This dreadful situation will undoubtedly cause uncertainty across all aspects of life, especially in Europe. More postponed tournaments are likely to be announced in the near future.
