M4 World Championship (Mobile Legends: Bang Bang) became the most popular tournament in January 2023. Considering all the broadcast languages, it had 4.2 million Peak Viewers, the number that watched Blacklist International defeat RRQ Hoshi in the upper bracket semifinals. The main tournament languages were Indonesian and Tagalog — they had 2.8 million and 1.2 million Peak Viewers, respectively.

PUBG Mobile Global Championship 2022 is in second place with 851.7K Peak Viewers. This number was recorded on January 8 at the 18th round of the tournament's final stage. It is also worth noting the activity of viewers from Indonesia — broadcasts in Indonesian drew 240K PV.

LCK Spring 2023 continues to hold the status of the most popular LoL league. At the end of January, it saw a match between the two titans, T1 and Dplus KIA (formerly known as DWG KIA), which drew 720.7K PV (including all broadcasts).

The match between KOI and Team Heretics at LEC Winter 2023 caused a big excitement among European League of Legends fans. The Spanish derby was watched by 486.6K Peak Viewers. Such great attention to this particular encounter is not surprising, as these clubs are owned by popular Spanish streamers ibai and TheGrefg.

BLAST Premier Spring 2023 (CS:GO) rounds out the Top 5 of the ranking. The series between G2 Esports and Natus Vincere was of the greatest interest to viewers — 398.2K Peak Viewers. We should remind you that the players of the Ukrainian club lost to their rivals with the score of 0:2.

M4 World Championship became the most popular esports tournament in January with English-speaking viewers. But the PV number was recorded in another match — 477.1K Peak Viewers watched the Grand Final between RRQ Hoshi and ECHO.

LEC Winter 2023 comes in second in the ranking. While the Spanish-speaking fans preferred the game KOI vs. Heretics, the most popular match on the English broadcast was the game between G2 Esports and Fnatic. The confrontation between the two most prominent clubs in the region was watched by 257K PV. G2 Esports was victorious.

BLAST Premier Spring 2023 rounds out the Top 3, reaching more than 256.3K PV on the English broadcast. This happened in the same match between G2 Esports and Natus Vincere.

Two more League of Legends regional leagues, LCK Spring 2023 and LCS Spring 2023, round out the Top 5. The former drew 219.3K PV, and the latter drew slightly more than 178.7K PV. The Spring Season will be in full swing in February, which means we will surely be seeing these leagues in our next recap.

The official English-language channel of the LEC tops the list of the most popular esports channels on Twitch in January. The channel saw 178.6K PV at the match between G2 Esports and Fnatic.

BLAST Premier's official channel gathered a lot of CS:GO fans. More than 157.7K PV watched the match between G2 Esports and Natus Vincere at BLAST Premier Spring 2023 on this channel.

Official CDL channel ranks fourth in the Top with the Call of Duty League 2023: Stage 2 Major Qualifiers stream. Qualifiers for the Major in Boston was intense, but the match between OpTic Texas and Boston Breach drew the most viewers concurrently, 124.5K. The number could have been higher if it hadn't been for the community casting. Many fans chose to follow the tournament on the broadcasts by scump, zoomaa and other streamers.

The official channels LCK and LCS, which broadcast Korean and American League of Legends leagues, round out the Top 5. In January, they reached 122.8K and 107K Peak Viewers, respectively.
