MPL Singapore Season 7 reached series' highest average viewership ever
Singapore has crowned its latest champion as the regional MPL leagues conclude their current seasons. NIP Flash, a collaboration between Ninjas in Pyjamas and Team Flash in the professional Mobile Legends: Bang Bang scene, emerged victorious.
In the decisive MPL Singapore Season 7 match, NIP Flash defeated RSG Singapore with a dominant 4-0 score. This victory earned the team $27,000 and a spot in the MLBB Mid Season Cup 2024, which will be part of the Esports World Cup. For NIP Flash, this marks their second consecutive season win.
Additionally, the consistency of RSG Singapore is noteworthy — the team has reached the finals in all seven MPL Singapore seasons since the league's inception. Their unwavering presence in the finals is truly remarkable.

MPL Singapore Season 7 essentially matched the audience reach of the sixth season. While watch time decreased by about 5% due to reduced broadcast time, the average number of viewers per broadcast increased by 6.4%, reaching 4,900 — the highest in the series' history.

MPL Singapore Season 7 saw a significant drop in peak online viewership compared to the previous season. The most-watched match of the tournament drew only 29,200 viewers, which is half the number from Season 6's top match. This decline can be attributed to the surge in viewership on the official English-language Mobile Legends channels on YouTube during the previous season. In contrast, this season, the audience was dispersed among regional league channels such as MPL Indonesia, MPL Philippines, and others.
Despite trailing behind Indonesia, the Philippines, and Malaysia in viewership numbers, MPL Singapore still boasts a dedicated fan base that closely follows its local championship.
