The VALORANT Conquerors Championship was the discipline’s first VCT tournament for the Indian region. In this report, Esports Charts will tell you about the results of the qualifiers and the main stage of the VCC, as well as provide an overview of the most popular teams.
Aside from the Riot Games, the VALORANT Conquerors Championship was held with the support of NODWIN Gaming. The winner of the championship received a slot for the APAC Last Chance Qualifier, where they will compete for entering the main Valorant league.
Overview of the VALORANT Conquerors Championship qualifiers
From July 10th to August 15th, eight qualifying events were held for India, Pakistan, Afghanistan, Nepal, Bhutan, Sri Lanka, Maldives, and Bangladesh.

Based on the results, the first qualifier in India was the best region, with 136K Hours Watched and 29K Peak Viewers of the Velocity versus Global match. The second spot is taken by the second Indian qualifier with 70K Hours Watched and 15K Peak Viewers of the Global versus XO match. Meanwhile, Pakistan, Afghanistan, and Bangladesh have shown the worst performance.
Eight teams from the qualifiers got into the main stage of the tournament, where they competed for $33K.

The event was broadcast for 39 hours and aired on three platforms: YouTube, Twitch, and Facebook. Additionally, the official streams were conducted in two languages: English and Hindi. In the end, viewers of Hindi broadcasts were responsible for 82% of Hours Watched, with the remainder being contributed by the viewers of English-language streams.
The most popular broadcast took place on the NODWIN Gaming YouTube channel and gathered 31.9K Peak Viewers. Most viewers were attracted by the clash of Velocity versus Global Esports in the grand final, with 52K Peak Viewers spectating the final map.
The most popular teams in the Valorant Conquerors Championship

Global Esports became the winners of the Valorant Conquerors Championship, therefore they will be representing India at the Last Chance Qualifier.
The Valorant Conquerors Championship showed that South Asia is interested in traditional PC disciplines (and Valorant in particular). At the moment, the region is dominated by mobile disciplines both in terms of popularity and views – and so no one was sure whether VCC would be able to gather a sufficient number of viewers.
The mark of 50K Peak Viewers proves that the region lends itself well to holding competitions in classic esports titles and that these competitions will collect a sufficient number of broadcast viewers. Therefore, it makes sense to organize not only the “qualifiers of qualifiers'' within the VCT, but also to treat South Asia as a separate region for the next Valorant Champions Tour. South Asia, in its entirety, has exceeded the southeastern regions (Philippines, Indonesia, Malaysia, Vietnam, and Thailand) in terms of results.
