FaZe Clan win back-to-back Rainbow Six world titles — but fall short of viewership crown

FaZe Clan win back-to-back Rainbow Six world titles — but fall short of viewership crown

Feb 16, 2026 4 dakika okuma

The Six Invitational 2026 brought together the world’s strongest Rainbow Six Siege teams and once again demonstrated the global scale of the competitive scene. Organizations from Brazil, Europe, North America and Asia all made deep runs in Paris. Several teams drew particularly strong audience interest, showing how fanbases and regional support now play a major role in shaping a tournament’s overall viewership.

FaZe Clan stood at the center of the competitive narrative. The Brazilian roster entered the tournament as defending world champions and carried the pressure that comes with that status. They delivered another confident international performance, defeating top contenders and securing their second consecutive world title.

At the same time, the tournament’s viewership told a more complex story. FaZe Clan claimed the championship, but other teams drove some of the event’s largest audiences. This contrast highlights the growing gap between competitive success and audience leadership, as viewership increasingly depends on regional fanbases, matchups and storylines beyond the eventual champion.

While FaZe Clan stood alone at the top of the competitive standings, the tournament’s audience landscape followed a slightly different hierarchy. Team Secret emerged as the most popular team of the Six Invitational 2026, averaging over 80,000 concurrent viewers across their matches. FaZe Clan ranked second with 78,800 concurrent viewers, closely followed by G2 Esports at 77,700. The narrow gap between the top three teams highlights how audience attention is concentrated around a small group of contenders, rather than a single dominant viewership leader.

Team Secret’s position at the top was driven by both their deep tournament run and consistently strong audience engagement across multiple broadcast regions. The European roster recorded the highest total airtime of any team at the event while maintaining the strongest average viewership, reinforcing their role as the tournament’s primary audience driver. Secret also led viewership across several key language broadcasts, including main English streams as well as French, Japanese and others.

FaZe Clan, despite not leading in average viewership, delivered one of the strongest audience performances of the tournament. The Brazilian squad ranked among the leaders both in airtime and average viewership, demonstrating sustained global interest throughout their championship run. As expected, their matches performed particularly well on Portuguese-language broadcasts, where Brazilian teams traditionally attract some of the most dedicated audiences in Rainbow Six esports

G2 Esports completed the top three, averaging 77,700 viewers despite a shorter overall tournament run compared to both Secret and FaZe. This performance underscores the organization’s enduring global popularity and its ability to attract strong audiences regardless of tournament progression.

Beyond the leading trio, a clear separation emerged. Shopify Rebellion and Team Falcons averaged 57,100 and 50,200 viewers, respectively, placing them among the tournament’s most popular teams but at a noticeable distance from the top three. Falcons, in particular, recorded strong performances on Arabic-language broadcasts, reflecting the growing influence of Middle Eastern audiences within the Rainbow Six ecosystem.

With the Six Invitational 2026 now concluded, another competitive year of Rainbow Six esports has come to a close. The tournament once again demonstrated the global scale and continued growth of the scene, bringing together elite teams and audiences from across multiple regions.

As the competitive calendar resets, attention now turns to the 2026 season, which is set to begin in March and introduce the next chapter in the Rainbow Six ecosystem. Further details on the upcoming season’s structure, participating teams, and tournament roadmap are available on the official Rainbow Six Esports website.
