The FiReLEAGUE Global Final 2024 recently concluded in Buenos Aires, where invited teams from Europe faced off against the strongest squads from South America. The event's champion was Argentina's 9z Team, which earned $100,000 for their victory, marking the largest prize in the team's history.
Eight teams participated in the FiReLEAGUE Global Final 2024. Initially, the event was scheduled to take place last year in Barcelona, but logistical issues forced the organizers to relocate it at the last minute. Despite the location change, the list of invited teams remained largely unchanged.

Both victories came with ease, as each series ended 2-0. On three of the four maps played, 9z Team's opponents managed to win only four rounds, showcasing 9z Team's near-complete dominance.
This victory at the FiReLEAGUE Global Final 2024 is the greatest achievement in 9z Team's history. While the Argentine team has competed in various tournaments in this series and secured some wins in previous years, they had never before won such a substantial prize.
The broadcasts of FiReLEAGUE 2024: Global Finals generated nearly 970K hours watched, making it the third most-watched event in the series' history. The peak concurrent viewership reached 62.9K, also ranking third among all FiReLEAGUE tournaments.
Interestingly, the most popular match of FiReLEAGUE 2024: Global Finals was the group stage game between paiN Gaming and 9z Team. In contrast, the grand final only ranked third in terms of viewership.
The FiReLEAGUE 2024: Global Finals were broadcasted on 30 different channels, with community casters Gaules and forg1 attracting the largest audiences. Brazilian streamer Gaules played a significant role, contributing to nearly half of the total viewing hours in Portuguese. However, once all Brazilian teams were eliminated from the tournament, Gaules' channel experienced a sharp decline in viewership. For example, during the group stage, his Twitch channel peaked at 27.8K viewers, but this number dropped to a maximum of 8.1K during the playoffs.
