The most popular matches of StarLadder Budapest Major 2025 — Stage 1
The most-popular matches of StarLadder Budapest Major 2025 — Stage 1 were FaZe’s clashes with Brazilian teams Fluxo and RED Canids, each drawing over 500,000 peak viewers. The hype was well deserved — both series were elimination matches for FaZe, meaning a single loss would have sent the European powerhouse home. As always, Alexandre “Gaules” Borba Chiqueta, one of the biggest community casters in Counter-Strike, brought massive attention from the Brazilian audience.

Brazilian teams were featured in all five of the most-watched matches of Stage 1 — along with Fluxo and RED Canids, matches involving Legacy and Imperial Esports also made the list. It’s also worth noting that the StarLadder Budapest Major 2025 set a new record for the most Brazilian players at a Counter-Strike Major, with 28 players competing across all stages. No other country comes close to having that many representatives at the tournament.
