MPL Cambodia Season 10 becomes the most-watched split since 2024

The MPL Cambodia Season 10 ended on May 17, crowning a new winner for the first time in two years. With almost 114,000 Peak Viewers (PV), it also became the regional series's most popular event since 2024.

PRO Esports clinched the tenth season of the Cambodian circuit, easing past Galaxy Legends 4:0 in the Grand Final. It was the team’s first-ever finals appearance, having previously finished no higher than third, yet PRO Esports converted its debut on the biggest stage into a championship title.

The final was another heartbreak for Galaxy Legends, which has not reached three of the last four finals. Despite earning a reputation as one of the most consistent sides in MPL Cambodia recently, the team continues to wait for its maiden crown in the series.

For three-time reigning champion CFU Gaming, it was a disappointing start to the new season. Despite finishing second in the Group Stage, it could not build momentum in the Playoffs, losing to Galaxy Legends in the Upper Bracket and then to PRO Esports in the Lower Bracket Final to finish third.

PRO Esports enjoyed a breakthrough event, including a perfect Regular Season record and only one loss en route to sealing a maiden MPL Cambodia title. Apart from taking home a majority of the increased prize pool of $50,000, the side will represent Cambodia at the MLBB Mid Season Cup 2026.

According to Esports Charts, the latest split in the MPL Cambodia reached 113,926 Peak Viewers (PV) during the Grand Final. This put it among the three most popular events in the series, with only the MPL Cambodia Season 6 and the MPL Cambodia Autumn 2023 ahead by this metric.

MPL Cambodia Season 10 delivered these impressive numbers even with fewer unique broadcasting channels involved. Several factors may have helped bring more attention to the league, including its expansion from eight to ten teams, a larger prize pool, and the move to the new MPL Cambodia Arena, the competition’s first long-term venue.

YouTube was one of the clearest indicators of the renewed interest. According to Esports Charts data, the platform recorded its busiest MPL Cambodia event to date, reaching 1.5 million Hours Watched for the first time in the series’ history.

The finals between PRO Esports and Galaxy Legends was the only one in the series to cross 100,000 PV. The next-best entry was the clash between PRO Esports and defending champion CFU Gaming in the Lowee Bracket Final, which the former edged 4:3 in a topsy-turvy encounter that saw CFU Gaming throw away a 3:1 lead.

Looking at the series' historical data, this top-tier Mobile Legends: Bang Bang event accumulated around 2.48 million Hours Watched (HW). This put it among the four most-watched splits in the MPL Cambodia, reiterating just how successful the opening season of 2026 was.

The MPL Cambodia Season 10 is also the fourth-most popular Mobile Legends: Bang Bang split in the ongoing cycle of regional leagues happening around the globe. In terms of overall popularity, the MPL Cambodia Season 10 stands as the sixth-most popular competitive MLBB event this year.

Backed by renewed focus from MOONTON Games to make the series a rising force on the global stage, the MPL Cambodia has enjoyed its best season in a couple of years. The series has established itself as one of the top leagues outside the game's franchised circuits, and a good performance from its sides at upcoming international events could announce the region's arrival on the global stage.
