PGL announces return to Poland with $1.3 million Counter-Strike tournament in 2027

PGL is set to host a major Counter-Strike tournament in Lodz, Poland, in 2027. This marks the studio's highly anticipated return to the country, serving as its first Polish event since the iconic PGL Major Krakow 2017

The announcement was made on PGL's official X (formerly Twitter) account. PGL Lodz 2027 is scheduled to run from March 18 to 28, 2027, at the Atlas Arena. The tournament will feature 16 teams, including 14 selected via the Global VRS rankings as of December 7, 2026, alongside two teams from the European qualifiers. PGL Lodz 2027 features a $1 million prize pool. Additionally, an extra $300,000 will be distributed among the five highest-ranked VRS teams competing at the event.
