#10 — ONIC Esports
In tenth place, we have ONIC Esports, an Indonesian esports organization, with strong ties to the mobile esports scene, which maintained the same spot from 2021. It has the second-lowest number of teams, and played the lowest amount of matches, of any organization on the list. However, their teams still had some success in 2022, especially in MLBB. #8 — FaZe Clan
FaZe Clan didn't make the list last year, but in 2022 the organization saw an incredible increase in its popularity. With 85.7 million Hours Watched. FaZe Clan CS:GO team is the main cause behind these amazing results. The team won multiple tournaments throughout the year, with the most important one being the PGL Major Antwerp 2022. Karrigan finally won his first Major trophy, and FaZe Clan achieved 2.1 million Peak Viewers during that grand final.
#7 — Fnatic
Fnatic is a historic esports organization, with millions of fans spread around the world. It competes in nine titles, and Fnatic main goal is always to win trophies. Viewers watched Fnatic games for 86.4 million hours, an 11% increase compared to 2021. Its biggest audience was 1.3 million viewers, and was achieved at Worlds 2022.
They are very well known for their CS:GO and League of Legends teams. Unfortunately, these teams didn't achieve their goals in 2021, with the CS:GO squad even missing the first Major of the year. However, Fnatic League of Legends roster for 2023 is getting fans excited. With Rekkles coming back to the team, and a few new additions, they are confident this is the year Fnatic will once again conquer Europe.
#6 — Natus Vincere
Natus Vincere 2022 wasn't as successful as many expected, with the organization dropping four places in the list. The organization competes in twelve different titles, and this year it played 325 matches. Natus Vincere CS:GO team is their crown jewel. Fans from all around the world love the squad, especially because s1mple, one of CS:GO greatest players ever, plays there.
Natus Vincere achieved some good results this year, winning the BLAST Premier: Spring Finals 2022, and finishing second in the PGL Major Antwerp 2022. It was in the final of the first major of the year, where that they reached their peak viewership of 2.1 million viewers.
#5 — DRX
In fifth place, we have DRX. DRX growth in 2022 was astonishing, with the team HW increasing by almost 300%. The main reason for their increase in popularity was their amazing run at Worlds 2022. DRX entered the tournament as an underdog, and many didn't see them going far in the event. However, they exceeded all expectations, and went on to secure the title.
It was in their 3:2 grand final victory over T1, that the organization achieved its peak viewership. 5.1 million Peak Viewers watched Deft realize his lifelong dream. Unfortunately for DRX fans, BeryL was the only player from the Worlds 2022 winning squad that didn't leave the organization. Their Valorant team also had an amazing year. Dominating domestically, and having great results at the international level. They also made it into the Valorant Pacific League.
#4 — Rex Regum Qeon
Rex Regum Qeon has some of the best teams in the mobile esports scene, winning titles in multiple games and thus climbing three spots. Its MLBB team had a great year, winning the MPL Indonesia Season 9, and finishing second in the MLBB Southeast Asia Cup 2022. Rex Regum Qeon had 2.8 million Peak Viewers, in the MPL Season 9 final, where they defeated ONIC Esports with a score of 4:1. Now, the organization has its eyes set on the M4 World Championship, which will being in January of 2023.
#3 — G2 Esports

G2 Esports was this year's third most popular esports organization. They are well known for their bold marketing and social media content, but G2 Esports also has championship teams in almost all the competitive scenes they are involved.
League of Legends and CS:G, were G2 Esports fans two favorite teams to watch, making up 82% of the HW. The organization won the LEC Spring Split, and reached the semifinals of MSI. They also broke a long trophy drought in CS.GO, as they recently won the BLAST Premier: World Final 2022. Their Peak Viewership of 1.4 million viewers, was reached in the MSI semifinal match vs T1.
#2 — Team Liquid

Just like T1, Team Liquid has been around for quite some time, and has cemented itself as one of the industry's greatest organizations. It has 14 professional teams, that compete in games such as Valorant, Dota 2, CS:GO, and many others. It assembled a League of Legends “super team”, but it was from the three games listed above that the majority of its 119.1 million HW came from.
Team Liquid also finished in third place at TI 2022, where they lost versus Team Secret, in the lower bracket final. That game had 1.2 million Peak Viewers, the organization's biggest audience of 2022. This year, Team Liquid squads played a total of 745 matches, being broadcasted for 1.2 million hours. They lead both metrics in this list by a substantial margin.
#1 — T1

T1 was created almost 20 years ago, and since then has become one of the biggest esports organizations in the world. In 2022, no other team was able to attract the interest of more viewers, with their number of Hours Watched. It doesn't come as much of a surprise that 86% of the organization HW comes from League of Legends.
With Faker, arguably esports greatest player of all time, as the team captain, they managed to win the LCK Spring Split, while not losing a single series. They also came second in the LCK Summer Split, and achieved the same result at Worlds 2022, where they lost in what many are calling the best finals in the history of the tournament. It was in that final that the team achieved its Peak Viewership, with 5.1 million viewers gathering to watch the battle between Faker and Deft. Worth noting that, despite having less airtime in 2022, T1 viewership grew, and 254K concurrent viewers would tune into the organization's games regularly.

It's worth noting that, organizations such as Gambit Esports, and DWG KIA, which were present in this list last year, saw a huge decrease in HW. After the Russian invasion of Ukraine, Gambit had to disband all of its rosters, and is almost a nonexistent esports organization at this point.
Most of these organizations have built a large community, and are always competing for the biggest titles in the esports industry. This makes it very hard to enter this list, which is full of prestigious organizations. However, it's not impossible, just like DRX and FaZe Clan demonstrated. There are plenty of up-and-coming organizations, like LOUD, KOI, or Team Heretics, who have a great shoot at making this list next year.
