On August 25, the BLAST Premier: Fall Showdown 2024 concluded, finalizing the last two spots for the BLAST Premier: Fall Final 2024. Sixteen teams competed for advancement, including FaZe ClanVirtus.proOGHeroicNinjas in Pyjamas, and others. The event drew a significantly smaller audience compared to the Spring Showdown 2024: the absence of one of the top community casters and the swift departure of the Brazilian audience after their team was eliminated contributed to this decline.

Unlike the spring tournament, the Fall Showdown 2024 unfolded with no major surprises. FaZe Clan and Team Falcons smoothly advanced through the initial rounds and secured their places in the final by defeating OG and Virtus.pro. They will now vie for the top prize at the Fall Final 2024, scheduled for the end of September.

Several factors contributed to the decline in overall metrics. Firstly, the number of unique channels covering the tournament decreased significantly, including the absence of a major community caster. Secondly, there was a marked drop in viewership on Portuguese streams, as well as on the official English-language channels on Twitch and YouTube.

Detailed statistics for Fall Showdown 2024 reveal that viewership declined across nearly all major language streams. Additionally, Twitch’s share of the viewership slightly decreased.

FaZe Clan and Team Falcons will continue their quest at the BLAST Premier: Fall Final 2024, which will be held in Copenhagen from September 25 to 29. The tournament will feature a prize pool of $425,000 and a spot in the BLAST Premier: World Final 2024.
