Our previsions regarding the best esports game came true - League of Legends has won in this category. In 2020, the game has reached 1,4B Hours Watched and gained a lot of attention thanks to Worlds 2020. Besides, this tournament became the best esports event.
Let's continue to talk about esports achievements. G2 Esports became the best esports team. In terms of stats, the leaders are Koreans from Damwon Gaming, the winners of World Championship 2020. They've gathered 3,8M Peak Viewers.
Among Us managed to win in two categories at once - "Best Multiplayer" and "Best Mobile". But according to statistics, VALORANT should have been the best multiplayer as it gathered 765M Hours Watched.
Nickmercs was the first contender of Best Content Maker, but the journalists awarded Rachell "Valkyrae" Hofstetter, which mostly focus on YouTube.
If we compare the award ceremony to last year, we see a 70% increase in Hours Watched and Peak Viewers compared to 2019.
