MPL Season 6 PH & MY/SG Qualifiers
Jul 29, 2020 3 分 読み

It’s been only 2 months since the last Mobile Legends: Bang Bang league, but organizers won’t stop there.

This weekend MLBB Professional League qualifiers have finished in PH and MY/SG regions, and today we will talk about their results.

The whole new season with the playoffs will run for 4 months, until October 2020. 10 teams will fight for $100,000. 4 teams from Malaysia and 2 from Singapore were invited to participate in the league, and the other 4 were selected through qualifications.

The top-2 teams in the league will get a direct invite to the MLBB World Championship, which will take place after the quarantine.

MPL PH Season 6 Qualifiers

More than one thousand teams have applied for the PH Qualifiers, and the champions have already been determined. The first team, which will compete for the title of the best in the region is NXP Solid. Famous Philippine streamer Akosi Dogie was their coach during the qualifiers.

NXP Solid became the favorites of the audience and their match with Breakpoint collected the biggest amount of viewers - 261K at the peak and 154K watched them on average.

The runner-ups are Cignal Ultra, the winners of MPL PH Season 2. They had 36K viewers on average. We should note that viewers also preferred to watch for the Breakpoint and Chik newbies, but these teams didn’t get a spot in the season.

The teams will meet Aura PH, the champions of Season 5 along with Onic PH, Bren Esports, and Execration in the regular season.

The official Facebook broadcast was leading by platforms. The peak of the platform concluded 192K viewers. Also, the organizers launched the broadcast on YouTube - 69K Peak Viewers.

Regarding the languages, apart from Filipino as the most popular language, 10K English-speaking viewers watched the broadcast.

Season 6 in the Philippines will start on August 21, and you can find the results of Season 5 in this article.

MPL MY/SG Season 6 Qualifiers

The qualifiers in Singapore were not so successful. Only 13,9K viewers watched the tournament at the peak. The audience was only English-speaking.

Team SMG got its place in the regular season. We have seen them in seasons 3 and 4 of MY/SG, and now they'll show us hopefully impressive gameplay with their new roster.

Forsaken, Bella Ciao, and Divinity Esports will also compete in the regular season. They will meet such invited teams as Resurgence (the winners of MY/SG Season 5) and Evos SG (the winners of Season 4).

We’re also waiting for MLBB Premier League Season 6 Qualifiers in Indonesia. Season 5 of this region has set a new record by viewership, and we expect that Season 6 won't stay behind.

Upcoming tournaments:

MPL ID Season 6 - August 14

MPL PH Season 6 - August 21

MPL MY/SG Season 6 - August 28
