The first split of Garena ROV's new season in Thailand concluded on April 27, becoming one of the series' most-watched events. The success of some of the Southeast nation's top teams was a vital factor in this development, helping the game — popular in the West as Arena of Valor, Lien Quan in Vietnam, Penta Storm in South Korea, and Legendary Showdown in Taiwan/Japan — continue its recent rise as a global esports offering.
The summer season of ROV (Realm of Valor) esports, whose Playoffs were at the prominent BITEC in Bangkok, saw eArena clinch a second straight title. It beat world champion Bacon Time to reiterate its reputation as one of the country's most consistent sides in recent times.

The RoV Pro League 2025 Summer reached 242,083 Peak Viewers (PV) during the Grand Final, where eArena eased past Bacon Time 4:0. This put it among the most popular competitions in the RoV Pro League series, with only two names ahead.
This Garena ROV tournament also notched 12.44 million Hours Watched (HW) over 199 hours of airtime, another high. When looking at the RoV Pro League, only one event has a higher watch time, the AoV Pro League 2024 Winter, meaning the last two splits have attracted some of the highest Thai audience numbers for the series.

Most watched and popular RoV Pro League events
A major reason for this ROV esports event doing so well was the great performances of its top teams. The likes of Talon Esports and Buriram United Esports, alongside the two finalists, all reached the knockout stage, meaning all the former/current winners of this event had made it to the end of the competition.
The run of Bacon Time, one of the Garena ROV league's most consistent and popular sides, to the Grand Final was also a subplot for Thai audiences. The team had finished as the runner-up in the last three splits, with its last tournament victory coming in 2023, and viewers were keen to see if it could buck this trend. In the end, the reigning Arena of Valor International Championship 2024 winner was soundly beaten to continue this unwanted streak.

With all the major sides making the Playoffs, the RoV Pro League 2025 Summer ended as one of the most consistently watched events in the RoV Pro League. It became just the second tournament in the series to top the 60,000 Average Viewers (AV) mark after the 2024 winter split.
The last two years have been quite successful for AoV, led by increasing livestreaming viewership numbers and aided by the global expansion of its Chinese cousin, Honor of Kings. With the top four from the RPL Summer 2025 sides qualifying for the Arena of Valor Premier League 2025, alongside teams from other regional leagues like Vietnam's Arena of Glory (AoG) and Taiwan's Garena Challenger Series (GCS), things could get much better come the mid-season major for this season.
