Legendary Ukrainian player Oleksandr ‘’s1mple’’ Kostyljev returns to the pro Counter-Strike scene after a six-month break. Tonight, he’ll join FaZe Clan at IEM Dallas 2025, the final stop ahead of the Austin Major.

S1mple is set to make his FaZe debut on the evening of May 19 in a match against Team Liquid, with kickoff scheduled for 6:30 PM CET. Fans can catch one of the greatest snipers in shooter history on the official tournament streams or through a variety of community casters. S1mple last appeared on the pro Counter-Strike stage in November 2024, stepping in as a stand-in for Team Falcons during their run for a spot at the Perfect World Shanghai Major. Although the team fell short in the European RMR A and didn’t qualify, s1mple’s presence sparked major hype among fans. Thanks to his appearance, Team Falcons led the qualifiers in average viewership per match.

S1mple has stepped in for Helvijs ‘’broky’’ Saukants, who was benched from FaZe to the inactive on May 5. Under the terms of the loan agreement with Natus Vincere, s1mple will compete for FaZe not only at IEM Dallas 2025 but also at the upcoming BLAST.tv Austin Major 2025.
