The most popular streamers of June on Twitch

Jul 06, 2020 3 分 読み

June has ended with another victory of Brazilian streamer gAuLeS. Alexandre owns the title of the most popular Twitch streamer for the second month in a row. This time the gap between him and others by viewership became even bigger.

In June gAuLeS continued to broadcast esports matches on his channel. The battles of Brazilian teams Furia and MiBR on BLAST Premier Spring 2020 and DreamHack Masters Spring 2020 helped him a lot. One of these matches has set a new record for his channel - 390K viewers at the peak.

The next streamer is LolTyler1. This player has spent several months without streaming. He was training and trying to reach the highest rank in the League of Legends. Now, when he has reached his goal, he renewed his streaming activities and became the 5th Twitch streamer in June.

Pestily also returned to our top by climbing almost a hundred positions up. He continues to devote all his Air Time to Escape From Tarkov. The devs appreciated it, so he received a Drops system during the last in-game event. Of course, it had a big impact on the popularity of his broadcast.

NICKMERCS continued to host his tournaments. His MFAM Gauntlet series distinguished with $50K prize pool for popular streamers. He hasn’t attracted all the viewers of the platform. However, he got an additional audience, which is why his position is higher than in May.

In CIS the platform continues to focus on Dota 2. However, things may change in July, as the esports scene goes on a brief vacation. This will bring new viewers to regular streamers.

Stray228 will be one of these channels. He used to be one of the most popular streamers on the platform, but now he’s on the verge of dropping out of the top-10. A large number of online tournaments clearly didn’t help his streams.

We see two streamers among the first places, who like shooters. (such as CS:GO or Valorant). Evelone192 became the most popular among Russian-speaking streamers. In June he again focused on the new content. Almost every broadcast has finished with an interesting “Mafia” or “Bunker” battle.

In turn, his main competitor, Buster, became the second streamer of the Russian-speaking category. From the middle of the month, his streams were about his real life. He was engaged in a variety of activities (from Mafia to VR-games) as a part of “Freak House”.

SilverName had some problems in this month. Fans were thrilled that he won the qualifier to BlizzCon, but he had some issues with streaming. In the second half of the month, Vlad suffered a head injury, that’s why he was absent. This deprived him of a significant amount of Hours Watched, so he didn’t compete for the first place in our top.

Every week we post interesting statistics about the streamers on our Twitter. If you still have questions, you can always ask them on our Discord server.
