April marked the conclusion of many regional leagues in LoL, Valorant, Dota 2, CS:GO, ML:BB and Free Fire, as well as featured Fortnite streaming events and several major international championships. MPL ID Season 9 has become the most popular tournament for the third month in a row. April marked the end of the Indonesian league, and the playoff upper bracket semi-final between EVOS Legends and RRQ Hoshi attracted more than 2.8M Peak Viewers. This is the best result in the history of regional leagues and the third best among ML:BB tournaments. Only M2 World Championship and M3 World Championship managed to gather more Peak Viewers in the discipline.
LCK Spring 2022 remains the second most popular event for the second month in a row. The Korean League's grand final between T1 and Gen.G took place on April 2 and attracted 1.37M Peak Viewers. Note that this is the highest figure in the history of regional LoL leagues.
Closing the top 3 in April was VCT 2022: Stage 1 Masters Reykjavík. The grand final between LOUD and OpTic Gaming gathered more than 1M Peak Viewers, which is the third best result in the history of Valorant. Only VCT 2021 Stage 2 Masters Reykjavík and VALORANT Champions 2021 can boast higher Peak Viewers indicators, although neither of them reached the 1.1M viewers mark.
LEC Spring 2022 became the fourth most popular tournament of the month. In the grand final of the European league, G2 Esports faced Rogue; this game gathered 723K Peak Viewers.
Closing the top 5 tournaments in April was the streamer event Twitch Rivals Creator Series: North America Kick-off, ft. Fortnite Zero Build, which featured xQc, nickmercs, Tfue, and other top creators of the region. The confrontation between the streamers attracted 557.72K Peak Viewers.

VCT 2022: Stage 1 Masters Reykjavík was also of high demand among English-speaking viewers. During the grand finals, the English-language broadcasts of the event gathered 490.6K Peak Viewers.
Following the decisive match of the LEC Spring 2022 on English-language broadcasts were 465.6K Peak Viewers, earning it the third spot in the English-language segment.
LCS Spring 2022 became the fourth most popular tournament in April among English-speaking viewers. The American League Grand Final between 100 Thieves and Evil Geniuses gathered just over 387K viewers. It should be noted that the event was covered only in English.
Closing the top 5 tournaments of April in the English-language segment was LCK Spring 2022. English-language broadcasts of the Korean League Grand Final gathered more than 309K Peak Viewers.

The Portuguese-speaking segment is quite different from the English-speaking one both in terms of tournaments and disciplines. The Brazilians actively support their teams, which has allowed the grand final of VCT 2022: Stage 1 Masters Reykjavík (featuring LOUD) to attract 353.47K Portuguese-speaking viewers at peak.
CBLOL 2022 Split 1 became the second most popular tournament in this language segment. The decisive match of the Brazilian league between paiN Gaming and RED Canids was watched by more than 306K Portuguese-speaking Peak Viewers, which almost fully coincides with the event’s overall Peak Viewers indicator.
Closing the top three most popular tournaments of the month among the Portuguese-speaking audience was Liga Brasileira de Free Fire 2022 Series A Stage 1. Portuguese-language broadcasts of the final round of the Brazilian League gathered 298.9K Peak Viewers, which is only 1K viewers short of the overall Peak Viewers indicator of the event.
The top 5 tournaments of April in the Portuguese-speaking segment also included two CS:GO events. This was largely achieved thanks to the broadcasts of Gaules, the most popular Brazilian streamer.
Holding the fourth spot is PGL Major Antwerp 2022 American RMR. The tournament’s most popular match of the tournament on Portuguese-language broadcasts was not the grand final, but rather the encounter between Team oNe and Leviatán, which was followed by more than 181K Peak Viewers.
The fifth spot was taken by ESL Pro League Season 15. In the semi-finals of the tournament, FaZe Clan faced FURIA Esports, and this match gathered the largest audience across all Portuguese-language broadcasts: 140K Peak Viewers.

The Twitch audience in April mostly followed regional LoL leagues. The top 5 esports channels of the month included two official channels of the Korean League. LCK_korea gathered almost 343.7K Peak Viewers during the grand final of LCK Spring 2022 and took the first spot. Meanwhile, the English-language LCK channel took the third spot, having gathered 307.5K Peak Viewers.
Ranked between them in terms of Peak Viewers is the official European League channel. During the LEC Spring 2022 grand final, the broadcast almost reached the mark of 340K Peak Viewers. The official American League channel took the fourth spot, having collected more than 243K Peak Viewers of the LCS Spring 2022 grand final.
The official ESL CS:GO channel ranked fifth in April. It amassed 203.4K Peak Viewers on the broadcast of the grand final between ENCE and FaZe Clan.
