Bilibili Gaming seals third straight LPL title with Split 3 2025 triumph
The final split of the League of Legends Pro League (LPL) 2025 season concluded on September 21, deciding the team that would represent China at the 2025 LoL World Championship via direct entry. However, it didn't post any milestone viewership numbers as Bilibili Gaming continued its recent domination of the regional league.
The LPL Split 3 2025 served as a continuation of the season, with the 14 top teams from Split 2 competing against each other. The change in format for 2025 also meant that this tournament would crown the circuit's only champion for the year.
The third split of the 2025 season reached a peak of 191,892 concurrent viewers during the Grand Final between Bilibili Gaming and Top Esports Gaming. Having won their Upper Bracket Final 3:2, Bilibili Gaming repeated the trick, coming back from 1:2 down to seal its third straight LPL title.

The championship victory sealed Bilibili Gaming's place in the 2025 World Championship, where it will once again be China's top prospect of bringing the Summoner's Cup back to the country. Having finished as the runner-up at the 2024 World Championship, the team will be confident that it can take that one step further and achieve immortal glory.
Looking at the LPL as a whole, the LPL Split 3 2025 finished among the series' ten most-watched competitions. Note that with two fewer teams compared to the second split, its airtime was the least among the ten names on this list.

However, it did accrue 39,767 Average Viewers (AV), which put it among the LPL's most consistently watched competitions. Apart from the LPL Split 1 2025, it averaged a higher audience number than the second split of the year and every other split from 2023 onwards, except for each of the season-ending Regional Finals.
Among the five regional leagues that ran simultaneously, the Chinese circuit finished as the third-most-watched one, even excluding mainland China viewership. However, it was the League of Legends event with the lowest Peak Viewers (PV), ending as the only one with fewer than 200,000 concurrent viewers.

The LoL 2025 season is reaching its conclusion, and almost all the participants are set for the coveted Worlds 2025. Only the LPL Regional Finals 2025 remains, with the final two Chinese representatives to be decided here.
Once that is done, the focus will shift to the world championship and which teams have the best chance of etching their name in history. Esports Charts will update readers on this massive competition and produce a series of previews as well. Stay tuned for all the news here.
