Not T1 alone: which other Worlds 2025 teams are winning over viewers?

Oct 21, 2025 4 min read

The opening phase of the Swiss Stage at Worlds 2025 is complete, and as we await the next round, it’s a good time to see which teams are capturing the most attention from viewers. Every seasoned fan knows that whenever T1 compete, the spotlight naturally follows — and Worlds 2025 is no exception. Yet even with T1’s dominance, not every region shares the same focus; different corners of the global League of Legends esports audience clearly have their own favorites.

The Esports Charts Team Dashboard is one of our more advanced products, which covers all matches and broadcasts for any esports team, including co-streamers. The tool includes direct access to monthly viewership results for the organization, including breakdowns by languages and platforms so users can identify key audiences for the team. Using T1 as an example, check out a quote on our Pricing page.

The overall leader in total viewership is obvious, so let’s turn to the more interesting details — which teams lead across different regional broadcasts. That’s where the nuances appear. On Chinese-language streams hosted on Western platforms (our data excludes domestic services such as Huya, DouYu and others), the current leader by average viewership is Anyone’s Legend. The team was among the first to reach the playoffs, and their advancement series against CTBC Flying Oyster gave their numbers a notable lift. Another curious fact is that the team also ranks first by audience size on… French broadcasts.

Worlds 2025 is being broadcast in more than 20 languages, and several European ones show particularly interesting trends. On Czech, German, and Polish streams, G2 Esports leads the pack in viewership. The German result is easy to understand — the team’s lineup includes Sergen “BrokenBlade” Çelik — but its popularity among other European audiences likely comes from G2’s deep continental roots. Over the years, players from nearly every major European region have worn the G2 jersey, and even though there haven’t been Polish or Czech pros on the roster for a while, the fan loyalty clearly endures.

It’s not hard to guess which team dominates Spanish-language broadcasts — naturally, it’s KOI, the home crowd’s biggest hope at Worlds, still battling to stay alive and reach the playoffs. With the backing of founder Ibai Llanos, the team is almost certain to hold its top spot for as long as it remains in the tournament.

Unsurprisingly, Vivo Keyd Stars lead the way on Brazilian-Portuguese broadcasts as the country’s sole hope at Worlds. With Brazilian co-caster Gustavo “Baiano” Gomes among the event’s main commentators, his channels on multiple platforms see major traffic spikes whenever Keyd take the stage.

Looking at the most-watched teams across platforms, the picture stays largely consistent: T1 dominate on most major services like Twitch and YouTube, as well as regional ones such as SOOP Korea. Still, there’s an intriguing exception on Kick, where Keyd Stars ranked as the top team during the first five days of the Swiss Stage — thanks in no small part to Baiano, the tournament’s main Kick broadcaster, whose channel attracts waves of Brazilian fans whenever his team takes the stage.

Another curious example comes from NimoTV. Although the platform is a major hub for Hispanic, Brazilian and Southeast Asian audiences, its top-performing team by viewership is Gen.G Esports. The Korean powerhouse (arguably the best team of the season and perhaps of the entire year so far) has drawn exceptional interest from fans, even outpacing the globally beloved yet inconsistent T1.

The current trends are intriguing, but with plenty of tournament action still ahead, things could shift dramatically in the coming days. Worlds 2025 resumes tomorrow — stay tuned to Esports Charts for ongoing coverage and detailed viewership insights.
