In esports, the most popular teams are usually the ones that deliver strong performances at major tournaments, but that isn’t always how it plays out. In this article, we take a brief look back at 2025, highlight the most popular teams across the top esports titles and reveal which team led in one of the charts despite failing to win a single trophy during the year.

Т1 (League of Legends)

T1 roster emerged as the most-watched esports team of League of Legends esports in 2025. Throughout the season, their matches accumulated more than 195.4 million Hours Watched (HW). That figure is just 0.4% higher than last year’s total, underscoring T1’s remarkable consistency and sustained popularity.

T1 generated the bulk of its total viewership during the 2025 World Championship. Matches involving the team amassed 64.6 million HW, making up roughly 47% of the tournament’s overall viewership. This outcome is hardly surprising, as T1 were present throughout the entire event, advancing from the opening stage to the final and ultimately securing the title after weeks of sustained exposure.

This report is supported by Hellcase, world’s leading CS2 skin platform and a long-standing contributor to competitive Counter-Strike communities. As the Counter-Strike scene continues to grow in the United States and worldwide, partners like Hellcase help fuel fan engagement and strengthen the ecosystem around one of esports’ most enduring titles.

ONIC Esports (Mobile Legends: Bang Bang)

ONIC Esports became the most-watched team of Mobile Legends: Bang Bang esports. In 2025, the Indonesian squad amassed an impressive 95.6 million HW, double its total from the previous year. The biggest drivers of this growth were ONIC Esports’ two titles in the MPL Indonesia Season 15 and Season 16. The team also took part in the MLBB Mid Season Cup 2025, held in Riyadh as part of the Esports World Cup 2025 series.

Overall, ONIC Esports continues to be one of the most successful and popular teams in Mobile Legends: Bang Bang. In recent years, the team has established near-total dominance in the domestic MPL Indonesia, a competition whose viewership figures can rival global championship events in other esports titles.

Team Vitality (Counter-Strike)

Team Vitality emerged as Counter-Strike’s most-watched team of 2025 after a season defined by consistent success at the highest level. The French lineup claimed multiple tier-S titles, including triumphs at the BLAST.tv Austin Major 2025 and the StarLadder Budapest Major 2025, the year’s two flagship tournaments.

Overall, Team Vitality collected nine international trophies in 2025 and earned nearly $4 million in prize money. With achievements like these, it comes as no surprise that the team finished as the clear leader in total Hours Watched across the Counter-Strike scene: 90.2 million HW. Right now, Vitality stands as one of the strongest and most successful rosters in the history of Counter-Strike.

Team Falcons (Dota 2)

Among Dota 2 teams, Team Falcons led the way in watch time. Over the course of the year, Cr1t-’s roster accumulated more than 58.6 million HW in official matches. The team’s defining moment of 2025 was, without question, its victory at The International 2025 in Cologne. That single event generated over 22.5 million HW for Falcons, alongside millions of dollars in prize money and global recognition.

Beyond The International 2025, Team Falcons also excelled at FISSURE Universe: Episode 6 and FISSURE PLAYGROUND 2. The squad reached the finals of several other tournaments, including the Esports World Cup 2025, but ultimately fell short against stronger opponents.

Fnatic (Valorant)

Rounding out our list is Fnatic, boasting the most-watched Valorant roster of 2025. Across the year, the team’s matches racked up over 40.1 million HW, narrowly edging out Paper Rex.

Fnatic was a rare case in this ranking, finishing as the most-watched team in its title despite ending the year without a major trophy. Repeated finals appearances at the season’s biggest events drove sustained visibility, showing that consistent top-level presence can rival trophies in terms of viewership impact.
