SOOP statistics are now collected by Esports Charts
The newly launched global live-streaming platform SOOP has been added to the list of esports data sources on Esports Charts. Statistics from the service are already available for several tournaments, including top-tier Valorant competitions.
“We are excited to expand our range of platforms that enable us to provide the most accurate data on esports tournament viewership. SOOP has just launched, but its potential is already evident with Valorant tournaments. More platforms mean more opportunities for viewers, benefiting the entire industry.”
Viktor Proniakin, Project Manager at Esports Charts
SOOP is already making a significant impact in esports coverage. The platform has broadcasted The International 2024: Southeast Asia Closed Qualifier and matches from two Valorant Champions Tour partner leagues, EMEA and Pacific. These VCT competitions on SOOP attract several thousand concurrent viewers, showcasing the platform's growing influence in the esports community.
About SOOP
SOOP was announced by the Korean live-streaming service AfreecaTV in May 2024, with its beta launch taking place in early June. The new platform is geared towards the global market and currently enjoys the highest demand in Thailand, Korea, Vietnam, as well as several English- and Spanish-speaking countries.
The platform's content goes beyond video games. It includes official broadcasts of a range of sporting events, such as the KBO League, South Korea's premier baseball league.
Earlier, the platform's statistics also became available on Streams Charts. If you're interested in data on influencers and individual SOOP channels in general, consider the available offerings.
Previously, Esports Charts started providing esports data for CHZZK, a South Korean-based live-streaming service that emerged following Twitch's closure in the country. For more details, read here.
