2025 League of Legends World Championship most popular teams
As League of Legends fans keep buzzing about the 2025 World Championship final, the Esports Charts team is rolling out some fascinating tournament analytics. In this article, we’re sharing data for free that’s usually reserved for PRO subscribers. Discover which team topped the charts in total watch ешьу and average concurrent viewers, and see which team sneaked into the second ranking without even making it to the Knockout Stage.
Most watched teams of 2025 World Championship

Unsurprisingly, T1 was the most-watched team at the 2025 World Championship, and they went on to claim the title. Matches featuring T1 racked up over 62.6 million watch hours during the tournament, surpassing their totals from Worlds 2024. This new record was partly thanks to T1 having to play an extra stage this year. Right at the start, they faced Invictus Gaming in a Play-In match to earn a spot in the Swiss Stage.
KT Rolster, the other finalist, claimed the second spot in total watch hours. They trailed the leader by a wide margin, largely because they played very few series in the Swiss Stage. Rounding out the top three was another South Korean team, Gen.G, who were knocked out in the semifinals.
Chinese teams Top Esports Gaming and Anyone’s Legends claimed fourth and fifth place. With Bilibili Gaming eliminated early, these squads became the local fans’ main hope in the Knockout Stage. Top Esports Gaming reached the semifinals, but the true fan favorite was Anyone’s Legends, a young underdog that put up a fierce fight against T1 and came just shy of knocking Lee “Faker” Sang-hyeok out of the tournament.

T1 also topped the charts for concurrent viewers, averaging nearly 2.64 million fans on its matches. Interestingly, that’s almost 1 million fewer than their numbers at Worlds 2024.
KT Rolster, T1’s final opponent, claimed the second spot. The two teams had very different journeys through the tournament: T1 played three more series, yet the gap in their average viewership was barely noticeable.
Invictus Gaming claimed third place, despite playing just a single match in the tournament. Had IG played more matches, their opponents would likely have been less popular, resulting in fewer viewers on average.
Anyone’s Legends and Gen.G rounded out the fourth and fifth spots, posting nearly identical average viewership numbers.
