Al Mazrah’s Last Hurrah enter top-5 most watched Warzone events of 2023
Following on from the success of the World Series of Warzone 2023 Global Finals, Warzone esports events are winding down for the holiday season. Before we say goodbye to 2023, eFuse hosted one last event for the discipline: Al Mazrah’s Last Hurrah.
The Last Hurrah event featured tournament featured two separate events: a Hide and Seek game and a Trios Battle Royale tournament. The mixture of fun and competitiveness was a winning formula for the event, and despite not hosting the largest prize pool of 2023, the Last Hurrah was one of the most-watched Warzone events of 2023.

Almost one hundred channels went live across various live-streaming platforms to cover the event. Many of the most-watched broadcasters for the event were competing in it, and DiazBiffle on Twitch was both the most-watched and most popular streamer of the event.
Biffle was a competitor of the event and was not only the most successful broadcaster of the event but the most successful competitor too. Biffle finished first in both events at Al Mazrah’s Last Hurrah, even with different teammates. He earned 47.5K Hours Watched for his coverage of the event, and his teams earned a collective $40K USD for his two first-place finishes.
In total, the event received 531K Hours Watched thanks to the various broadcasters covering the event. The event reached its summit at 62.5K Peak Viewers, and it maintained 41.6K Average Viewers throughout the more than 12 hours of broadcasting time.
The diverse range of channels broadcasting the event helped secure half a million hours of watch time, and these channels covered Twitch, YouTube, and Kick. Twitch was by far the most popular of these platforms, not only in Peak Viewers but also in channel count. Only a handful of channels were live on YouTube and Kick, with Twitch hosting the vast majority of broadcasts for the event.

Al Mazrah’s Last Hurrah garnered enough watch time to become the fifth-most-watched Warzone event of 2023. The event did benefit from a longer broadcasting time than other Warzone events throughout the year, but it still managed to outperform various official Warzone events.
The Last Hurrah event garnered more watch time than both the World Series of Warzone 2023 Stage 2 NA Finals, and Stage 1 EU Finals. In terms of Peak Viewers, the Last Hurrah event did lag behind most of the World Series of Warzone official events, and it even received fewer Peak Viewers than the Al Mazrah Cook Off. The Cook Off event was a smaller $15K prize pool event hosted in early 2023, but it still managed to reach 72.2K Peak Viewers.
However, the popularity of this Cook Off tournament does not discount the viewership that the Last Hurrah event received. The Cook Off’s Peak Viewers figure was boosted by the fact that DrDisRespect competed in this event. Of the 72.2K PV garnered by the event, the two-time DrDisRespect contributed over 30K of these viewers.
Al Mazrah’s Last Hurrah event was a solid send-off for Warzone’s year of esports events. The tournament became one of the top-5 most-watched Warzone events of the year, outperforming various official events of the 2023 Competitive Warzone Season organised by Activision.
The Al Mazrah events rely on community casters and streamers to garner a large chunk of their viewership, and although the Last Hurrah event was not able to top the peak viewership reached by the Cook Off event in early 2023, it still managed to garner over 500K Hours Watched.
