The winner of the BLAST Premier Spring Finals was decided this past weekend. Team Spirit won their second major LAN tournament of 2024, and Danil 'donk' Kryshkovets was named the tournament's Most Valuable Player. However, as noted by Counter-Strike media, donk actually performed below his average for the year, and Team Spirit's victory was truly a result of their collective team effort.

The most sniper rifle kills were made by NAVI's youngest player, Ihor ‘w0nderful’ Zhdanov, who scored 84 kills, seven more than his closest rival, Dmitriy ‘sh1ro’ Sokolov from Team Spirit. Virtus.pro's captain, Dzhami ‘Jame’ Ali, also performed exceptionally well.
Sh1ro proved himself not only as an efficient sniper but also as someone with nerves of steel, winning four clutches during the tournament. His teammate, Boris 'magixx' Vorobyev, and Virtus.pro's Petr 'fame' Bolyshev, also won four clutches each. The best in this category was Shahar 'flameZ' Shushan from Team Vitality, with five 1vsX duel victories.
Smoke kills are always impressive, especially when achieved from a long distance with a single shot. In the Spring Final 2024, four players managed to get over 20 kills through smoke. Players from Spirit and Vitality performed the best in this regard, with members of the French team securing the top two spots. The most effective "smoke killer" was once again flameZ, who achieved an impressive 32 kills through smoke.
Even more impressive than smoke kills are wallbang kills. In this aspect, the players from Natus Vincere excelled, with three of their members ranking in the top five. The top spot went to w0nderful, who achieved 10 wallbangs.
It's hard to argue that the first frag is often crucial in a round, making effective opening duelists highly valued on the Counter-Strike scene. At the Spring Final, players from Spirit and Team Vitality stood out in this regard. Donk secured second place, while the legendary Mathieu 'ZywOo' Herbaut claimed the top spot with 38 first kills in the event.
Which players were the bettors backing? We compiled aggregate statistics on bets for total kills and total deaths, and the top players were quite different from those highlighted above. The undisputed favorite among bettors was one of G2 Esports' key players, Nikola ‘NiKo’ Kovač, who accounted for over 10% of all bets placed.
Next, with a significant gap, is Nikola's teammate and cousin, Nemanja ‘huNter-’ Kovač, who garnered 6.8% of all bets. It's no surprise to see VP captain Jame on the list, as he's known for frequently surviving rounds. Rounding out the list are Vitality's Dan 'apEX' Madesclaire and William 'mezii' Merriman, who received 4.09% and 3.96% of the bets, respectively.
