BLAST Rivals Fall 2025 wrapped up in Hong Kong just a few days ago, marking the final BLAST event of the year for Counter-Strike. The tournament delivered plenty of action and emotion from start to finish, and even with a time zone that wasn’t ideal for European viewers, the event still drew more than 1 million viewers and came within a hair of breaking the series’ all-time viewership record.
BLAST Rivals Fall 2025 featured eight teams in total: four invited based on their VRS ranking and four that earned their spots through regional qualifiers. The prestige of the event was clear from the lineup alone, with three of the world’s top teams, according to HLTV, among the participants.
The biggest shock of the group stage was The MongolZ getting knocked out early: they finished last in Group A after losses to Passion UA and Team Spirit. Over in Group B, the marquee matchup was the showdown between Team Vitality and FURIA Esports, with the Brazilian squad coming out on top.

FURIA Esports kept up their dominant form in the playoffs, so seeing them in the grand final came as no surprise. In the championship match, Gabriel “FalleN” Toledo’s squad went head-to-head with Team Falcons in a nail-biter, rallying back after a slow start to take the win. The final two maps turned into an all-out slugfest, pushing the teams into multiple overtime rounds — much to the delight of fans watching the tournament.
FURIA’s victory at BLAST Rivals Fall 2025 continued their incredible late-season hot streak. Since the start of Fall, the Brazilian squad has already won four international titles and earned roughly $700,000 in winnings. It’s easily the most successful stretch in the organization’s history. Right now, FURIA sits at No. 2 in the HLTV rankings and holds the top spot in the VRS ranking.
BLAST Rivals Fall 2025 Viewership Statistics

BLAST Rivals Fall 2025 hit a peak of 1.035 million live viewers, marking the second-highest viewership in the series’ history. It came incredibly close to breaking the record, which is held by the BLAST Rivals Spring 2025 with 1.037 million Peak Viewers.
Both Rivals events this year posted nearly identical peak viewership numbers, but the gap in average viewership was much larger. Compared to BLAST Rivals Spring 2025, the average audience dropped by 17.3%, while total watch time fell by 12.6%. Still, these declines aren’t dramatic and are largely explained by the change in venue.
The Spring event took place in Copenhagen, which made it far more convenient for European fans than tuning in to matches broadcast from Hong Kong. Luckily, Brazilian fans stepped up in a big way, packing Alexandre “Gaules” Chiqueta’s streams across every platform.

Most popular CS tournaments in 2025
BLAST Rivals Fall 2025 marked the sixth Counter-Strike event this year to surpass one million Peak Viewers. In terms of peak audience, it outperformed PGL Astana 2025, IEM Dallas 2025, and several other major tournaments.
BLAST Rivals Fall 2025 acted as the final tune-up ahead of the StarLadder Budapest Major 2025, the biggest tournament of the second half of the season. FURIA Esports is heading into the event in an outstanding form, with a strong shot at bringing the Major trophy home to Brazil: something the country hasn’t done since ESL One: Cologne 2016, nearly a decade ago.
