The BLAST.tv Austin Major 2025 is maintaining solid viewership, despite a slight and expected dip on Day Two, a common pattern for tournaments of this scale. Overall, the event is still trailing just behind last year’s Copenhagen Major but performing noticeably better than the Shanghai Major.
Viewership held steady on the second day of the Austin Major, with average audience numbers dropping by just 5% compared to the first. For context, last year’s Copenhagen Major saw an 11% decrease on the second day, while the Shanghai Major dipped by 6%.

The viewership peak of the second day occurred during two matches played simultaneously: one featuring B8 against Wildcard, and the other pitting HEROIC against Australia’s top contender, FlyQuest. Most of the viewership spike came from the latter matchup.
While the first day was driven primarily by Brazilian and Ukrainian/post-Soviet audiences, the second saw a noticeable surge in engagement from English-speaking viewers across Europe and Oceania.
The second day wrapped up with the first teams to secure spots in Stage 2: B8 and HEROIC. Sadly, it also marked the end of the road for Fluxo and Metizport, who have been eliminated and won’t be moving forward in the tournament.
Round 4 action continues today, with matches kicking off in just a few hours. Three more teams will punch their ticket to Stage 2, and three will see their tournament run come to an end. Stay tuned and follow all the viewership stats with us!
