Epic Seven is a mobile role-playing game from Super Creative Inc. It was released in August 2018 and is now available on iOS, Android, and PC. Goal of the game is to form a squad of heroes to fight in locations/arenas with each character having unique abilities and fighting style. There are also artifacts, pets, a system of buffs and debuffs, and battles against NPCs and other players. The visual style of Epic Seven is very similar to anime, and there are heroes from popular TV series (for example, Edward Elric from the anime Fullmetal Alchemist) among the game characters. Epic Seven is published by Smilegate, a company well known to gamers from the shooter franchise Crossfire and MMO Lost Ark.
The Epic Seven World Arena Championship 2023 took place from September 9 to 23. The championship featured the best players from four servers: Japanese, Korean, Asian and Global (where Europeans and Americans mostly play). The winner was a player with the nickname Marguerite from Japanese server — he got $50.000.

The final tournament of the season attracted approximately twice as many viewers at the peak as during the qualifications. It is worth mentioning that the qualifying stages on the servers showed very similar viewership statistics, although the Korean server was slightly ahead of the rest.
