Caedrel and Kamet0 lift the EMEA Masters to new heights at the Winter 2025 Group Stage
The ongoing EMEA Masters Winter 2025 just set a new viewership record for the series’ group stages at just under 300,000 concurrent viewers. This peak was a product of two highly popular teams, Karmine Corp Blue and Los Ratones, whose individual fan bases connected to follow this showdown. With the power of these content creator teams, the EMEA Masters has been able to reach new heights.
League of Legends esports in 2025 offers new events, formats, and rivalries for the coming year. Moving away from their past two-event calendar, the EMEA Masters Winter 2025 marks the first of its kind for the three-event calendar. The new event started off strong, benefitting from large co-streaming audiences from Kamel “Kamet0” Kebir, co-owner of Karmine Corp, and Marc Robert "Caedrel" Lamont, owner of Los Ratones.

The Upper Bracket Final of Group D between Los Ratones and Karmine Corp Blue received over 292,400 Peak Viewers PV, far more than any other groups match in EMEA Masters history. The combined co-casting audiences of these two teams was substantial; more than 200,000 of these peak viewers were contributed directly by the co-streams of Caedrel and Kamet0.
Karmine Corp Blue was the ultimate victor, claiming a 2-0 victory and qualifying to the playoffs stage. On top of this, the game against Los Ratones was the blue squad’s most popular game ever. With this win, the French squad is now locked into the Playoffs stage, and Kamet0’s strong French-language viewership support is ensured for playoffs.
Between the two top streamers, Caedrel was more popular, reaching over 150,000 Peak Viewers for his broadcast alone. Kamet0’s broadcast was noticeably less popular than his co-streams for the main Karmine Corp squad, who recently came second at the First Stand 2025 event to a crowd of 1.1M PV. Los Ratones appearing in the playoffs stage would also be a dream come true for the tournament, with Caedrel’s massive fan-following likely to push the EMEA Masters even further.

With this recent result, the EMEA Masters Winter 2025 was able to become the fifth-most-popular LoL event of 2025. The tournament reached over 308,900 PV overall, thanks to the simultaneous broadcast of multiple games at once; nevertheless, KC Blue and Los Ratones game was the source for almost all of its total.
Los Ratones and Caedrel in particular are currently enjoying a massive wave of hype for the LoL team’s results. This roster of veteran European players shows they still have what it takes, and with the backing of one of LoL’s most popular co-streamers, their roster is guaranteed to be highly-followed.
Teams like Los Ratones and Karmine Corp revolutionised esports viewerships with their fervent and loyal followings. Many co-caster-backed teams have reached viewership records in other parts of the industry, and Los Ratones are currently leading the way in Europe. Keep an eye on their results for the remainder of the Winter tournament and the rest of the season, we can expect many more strong viewership results with them in the running.
