The ESL Snapdragon Pro Series: Mobile Masters 2025 wrapped up this past weekend in Jakarta. This major international Mobile Legends: Bang Bang tournament drew over 2.7 million Peak Viewers, making it the most popular esports event of the year so far. And the thing is that there aren’t many tournaments throughout the year that can rival these numbers: Indonesia’s MPL league or the M World Championship in MLBB; Mid-Season Invitational and World Championship in League of Legends or Counter-Strike Majors.

Mobile Masters 2025 marked the grand finale of the current ESL Snapdragon Pro Series season and served as the first major international Mobile Legends tournament of the year. The event brought together top teams from the APAC, LATAM, and EMEA regions, along with a special invitee from China. In total, 12 teams competed for a $200,000 prize pool.

From a viewership standpoint, the tournament delivered a near-perfect grand final. RRQ Hoshi, widely regarded as the most popular team in Mobile Legends: Bang Bang, drew massive attention with their appearance in the finals. Meanwhile, ONIC Philippines, currently the top team in MLBB after winning the M6 World Championship, brought the competitive firepower. The showdown between these two titans was a dream matchup for fans and helped the event break the series’ all-time viewership record.

The ESL Snapdragon Pro Series: Mobile Masters 2025 hit a peak viewership of 2,769,107 during the final game of the grand finals. That game was not only the longest of the entire playoff stage but also one of the longest in the whole tournament. The intense, down-to-the-wire showdown highlighted just how fierce the fight for the championship truly was.

The grand final exceeded the second-most popular match of the tournament by a remarkable 1.1 million Peak Viewers. Despite the significant gap, the growth in viewership during the series was incredibly organic, the audience grew steadily with each map, without any sharp spikes.

On the final day, nearly all official broadcast channels experienced a significant surge in viewership. For instance, peak viewership on the MPL Indonesia channel (YouTube Live) rose by 49.5%. The mpl.id.official channel (TikTok Live) saw a 42% increase, while the MPL Philippines channel (YouTube Live) saw its peak viewership double. The growth in viewership on the final day was further fueled by the appearance of two popular community casters, R7 Tatsumaki and RRQ Skylar. Both streamers only covered the grand final, drawing peak audiences of 95,000 and 82,000 concurrent viewers, respectively.
