Everything announced at the February 2026 Brawl Stars Brawl Talk
The February 2026 Brawl Stars Brawl Talk has officially dropped, and it's a historic one. Celebrating the milestone of the 100th Brawler, Supercell also revealed to fans a total foundational shift in how trophies, matchmaking, and "Buffies" work.
From the arrival of the second-ever Ultra Legendary Brawler to the introduction of the Prestige system, here is a full recap of the February 2026 Brawl Stars update. The release notes can be accessed on the official Brawl Stars page.
The 100th Brawler: Sirius & The Mythic Najia
This update introduces two high-impact Brawlers that are set to redefine the meta.
Sirius (Ultra Legendary – Controller)
Sirius makes history as the 100th Brawler. As an Ultra Legendary, his mechanics are unlike anything seen before.
- Main Attack: A dual-threat combo featuring Shadow Strike (a straight-line projectile) and Starr Bomb (a throwable with adjustable range).
- The Super (Shadow Summon): After collecting "Shadows" from enemies, Sirius summons up to three Brawler Shadows. These clones mimic the health and attack of their counterparts.
- Strategic Control: Players can command where these Shadows guard, making Sirius a nightmare in Hot Zone or Gem Grab. His Hypercharge pushes this further, significantly buffing the Shadows' strength.
Najia (Mythic – Damage Dealer)
Najia joins the roster on March 20th, bringing a poisonous new playstyle to the arena.
- Main Attack: She throws a jar that players can influence mid-flight. When it breaks, a poisonous snake hunts the nearest target.
- Stacking Poison: Landing multiple snakes on one target causes poison damage to stack, melting high-HP tanks.
- Super (Paper Snakes): Najia launches three explosive paper snakes that apply area-of-effect (AoE) poison damage.
New Buffies & The "Brawl Machine"
The Buffies system is seeing a massive expansion and rework. In this update, Supercell is removing Mythic Gears (players will receive full value back) and replacing them with enhanced Buffie effects for classic Brawlers.
| Brawler
|
Key Buffie / Rework Highlight
|
|---|---|
| Bibi | Vitamin Booster now charges her Home Run bar and provides Lifesteal. |
| Bull | T-Bone Injector now marks opponents for 5 seconds. |
| Crow | Slowing Toxin Kunai now bounces to nearby targets. |
| Bo | Tripwire arrows now knock back enemies into his mines. |
| Leon | Clone Projector allows Leon to switch places with his clone. |
| Nita | Bear With Me now provides an "Overheal" mechanic for Nita and Bruce. |
The Prestige System & Trophy Overhaul
The old trophy reset system is being retired in favor of Brawler Prestige. This provides a permanent "save point" for your progress and better rewards for high-skill players.
- Bronze to Gold (250–750 Trophies): Unlocks Sprays, Icons, Pins, and 29-Gem Skins/Bling.
- Prestige (1,000 Trophies): Once you hit 1,000 trophies, they are saved forever. You can no longer drop below this floor.
- Prestige Ranks 1-3: Gaining additional trophies builds your Prestige Rank. Reaching Prestige 3 marks you as a global elite and grants a unique Prestige Brawler Title and a Neon Brawler Icon.
- Win Streaks: To help the climb, win streaks now grant up to +10 bonus trophies.
New Modes: Loaded Showdown & Rush Events
Supercell is leaning into "chaos" with new ways to play and progress.
- Loaded Showdown: Standard boxes are replaced with Mystery Boxes containing "Projectiles" (Bowling Balls, Bombs) or "Movement" power-ups (Bumper Cars).
- Rush Events: A new "high-stakes" toggle. Holding the Rush Event icon grants a limited-time window to earn bonus Coins, Power Points, and Chaos Drops from matches.
- Samurai Smash: A new Sirius-themed mode where teams compete to defeat the most Brawler Shadows.
Matchmaking & Technical Updates
- Hidden MMR: Matchmaking is shifting to a skill-based Match Making Rating (MMR) rather than raw trophy count to ensure fairer games.
- New Hypercharges: Keep an eye out for the new Pierce and Glowbert Hypercharges.
- VFX: Shields now have updated visual effects for better clarity during brawls.
The latest Brawl Talk was a landmark one for Brawl Stars, and with so many updates, including new powerful Brawlers, it will be fun to see how these changes impact the multiplayer online battle arena and hero shooter video game.
