Update, May 23: the tournament final numbers have been updated as several additional broadcast channels have been added.
FaZe Clan defeated NAVI with a score of 2:0 and became the champion of the first major of the season — PGL Major Antwerp. This is the team's first major title and the third trophy at top events in 2022.
On the first map (Inferno) FaZe secured a comfortable advantage as T, but NAVI managed to pull off a comeback and transferred the game to overtime, where Finn karrigan Andersen's team turned out to be stronger — 19:16. On NAVI’s pick, Nuke, FaZe showed dominant performance as CT and confidently won the series with the final score of 16:10.

The final of the PGL Major Antwerp by a huge margin became the most popular match of the tournament. At its peak, over 2.1 million people concurrently watched the game. The maximum audience of the tournament on Twitch was over 1.69 million people, the peak on YouTube exceeded 254K concurrent viewers. During the final, tournament's new peaks were also reached on English-language (1 million viewers) and Russian-language (544K) broadcasts.

FaZe Clan’s has played in the final of the Major in the past. In 2018, the team reached the decisive match at ELEAGUE Major: Boston, where they lost to Cloud9. This is the fifth major final for NAVI: the team lost the decisive games in 2015, 2016 and 2018, and won the first trophy of the series at PGL Major Stockholm 2021.
PGL Major Antwerp was held in Belgium from May 9 to May 22. 24 teams shared the prize pool of one million dollars, half of which went to the winner.
