World of Warcraft continues to assert itself not only as a beloved MMORPG but also as a prominent esports contender. Recently, The Great Push 2024 wrapped up its final stage, featuring top guilds racing through mythic-level dungeons. The tournament offered a substantial $200,000 prize pool.

Teams vied for spots in The Great Push 2024 through rigorous open qualifiers and group stages, culminating in a showdown among the six top guilds worldwide. Right from the start, Mandatory and ECHO Esports emerged as frontrunners for the championship, each earning an identical score after six intense raids. Ultimately, ECHO clinched victory with a faster completion time, outpacing their competitors by two minutes in the final standings.

ECHO's triumph rewarded its players with $88,000, while Mandatory, securing second place, earned $49,000. This event not only highlighted World of Warcraft's enduring popularity but also solidified its status as a major player in the competitive esports scene.

The Great Push 2024 Viewership Statistics

The broadcasts of The Great Push 2024 accumulated a total of 1.7 million Hours Watched, slightly less than last year's TGP tournament. This decrease can be attributed to this year's event being almost 16 hours shorter. However, the average online viewership for the broadcasts increased by 21.5% compared to the previous year, while peak viewership surged by 44%. These combined metrics establish The Great Push 2024 as the most popular tournament in the series' history.
