The M4 World Championship is the most prestigious event of the Mobile Legends: Bang Bang competitive season. Teams fight all year long to qualify for this tournament, as they know it's here they can cement their legacy and enter the history books. It’s one of the biggest tournaments in the mobile esports scene, so Esports Charts is proud to be an official analytical partner of the event. This year the tournament will take place from the 1st to the 15th of January in Jakarta. As for the venues, the Group Stage will be hosted in Bali United Studio, and Tennis Indoor Stadium Senayan will serve as an arena for the playoffs. The prize pool of the event amounted to $800K.

M4 World Championship Format
Sixteen teams will attend the event, which will have two stages, the group, and the knockout stage. In the group stage, which will occur from the 1st-4th of January, teams will be divided into four groups of four. The first and second place of every group advance directly to the upper bracket of the knockout stage.
In the knockout stage, teams will play in a double-elimination bracket. Eight teams will begin in the upper bracket, while the other eight start in the lower bracket. The grand finals will be a best-of-seven series.
Reigning and defending champions Blacklist International, come into the event as one of the favorites, after they dominated the MPL Philippines Season 10. The squad wants to conquer their second-ever world title, and give Philippines fans their third straight MLBB World Championship. History can also be made if one of the teams outside the Philippines or Indonesia wins the competition. So far, only squads from those two countries have been able to lift the trophy.

M4 World Championship Broadcasts
Fans will be able to watch the event in twelve languages, including English, Portuguese, Spanish, Indonesian, and many others. As for streaming platforms, the tournament will be broadcasted by multiple channels on Twitch, Facebook, YouTube, and TikTok. Viewers will have a plethora of broadcasts to choose from, with every language streaming on at least two different platforms.

The previous editions of the MLBB World Championship all had amazing viewership stats. In the past three years, the event has always broken its previous viewership record. So we expect this year to be no different. Thousands of fans will tune into the event daily, to watch the best teams in the world battle it out.
