How to watch Red Bull Home Ground 3: the biggest Valorant off-season tournament of 2022

Dec 08, 2022 3 min read

Red Bull Home Ground 3 is another edition of the company’s Valorant series. This time the event is organized in partnership with Riot Games as the championship is a part of the off-season 2022 series for the EMEA region. The off-season series consists of eight tournaments, organized by different companies, giving teams something to play for in the off-season. Red Bull Home Ground 3 has the biggest prize pool of all of them, with $100K. It will take place in Manchester, from the 9th-11th of December.

The event will have eight teams, with three of them coming from the Americas league. Seven of the attending teams were invited, with FUT Esports qualifying by winning the Turkish Qualifier. Worth noting that, BIG had won the EMEA qualifier and was supposed to attend the event, but their Valoran roster was dropped. So the tournament organizers invited Team Heretics as their replacement.

With the 2023 Valorant off-season being full of roster moves, fans will finally have a chance to see how some of the teams look in the server. Teams such as Team LiquidCloud9, and KRÜ Esports, made plenty of changes, so it will be very interesting to see what the play style of the teams looks like. The event will be played in the 5.10 patch, so we still will see a lot of Chamber gameplay. However, maybe some teams will try new strategies, already thinking about how the massive 5.12 patch changes might affect the meta of the game.
