Community casting contributed approximately 43% of this total, highlighting its substantial role. The proportion of community casting versus official broadcasts varied across different esports titles. For instance, the Call of Duty: Warzone tournament had the highest percentage of community casting, while Dota 2 led in absolute watch time (hours).
In mobile esports events, official broadcasts dominated viewership at the Esports World Cup 2024. For example, in the Mobile Legends: Bang Bang championship, official channels generated nearly four times as many HW as community casters.
