Interim Results of ALGS: 2022 Split 1 Pro League — Regional Statistics, Audience Intersection and Top Channels
Most of the ALGS: 2022 Split 1 Pro League matches have ended, and each region has already identified both its obvious favorites and outsiders. In this new article, Esports Charts gives an interim summary of the league's regional splits, compares their audiences and names the top broadcast channels of each.
To begin with, in November due to specific schedules ALGS: 2022 Split 1 Pro League for North America and Europe played 30 games each, but the other regions played 42 games each. According to the results of November's matches, Team Liquid and TSM took the leading positions in North America, while Acend and Pioneers took the first places in Europe. In the APAC North, Fnatic and ENTER FORCE.36 took the lead, while Chicken Sandwich and Dewa United Esports had the same positions in the APAC South. In the South American league, however, Team Singularity is so far ahead by its points that it has already secured its place in the ALGS: 2022 Split 1 Playoffs.
Viewership Statistics
North America took the top positions by all viewership metrics. That league's games were on air for nearly 18 hours and accumulated 1.84 million Hours Watched with 105K Average Viewers. Its Peak Viewers numbers were 166.1K. The most popular channel broadcasting the league was TSM_ImperialHal — it generated 31.6% of the total event's Hours Watched.
ALGS: 2022 Split 1 Pro League - APAC North ranked second by popularity, accumulating nearly 1.7 million Hours Watched for 27.5 hours on air with 61.8K Average Viewers. The league's Peak Viewers numbers in November was 102.6K. The tournament's top channel became Rage (YouTube), which accumulated 34.4% of the event's Hours Watched.

The third most popular region was Europe, where games lasted just over 18 hours. During that time, the league accumulated 999.4K Hours Watched with 55.3K Average Viewers, and its Peak Viewers numbers were more than 85.3K. The most popular channel of the European event, playapex, generated 28.9% of the total league's Hours Watched in November.
ALGS: 2022 Split 1 Pro League - APAC South figures were significantly lower. Despite 28 hours on air (its highest figure) in November, the league accumulated only 189K Hours Watched with 6.7K Average Viewers. At the same time, its Peak Viewers numbers were almost 12K. The most popular channel for the event was restiafps, whose viewers generated 36.2% of the total league's Hours Watched.
South America's statistics were even several times lower. During 23 hours on air, the league accumulated 69.5K Hours Watched with 3K Average Viewers. The tournament's Peak Viewers numbers were nearly 5.7K. Notably, more than 56% of the South American League's Hours Watched in November was generated by the Pokiz Games (YouTube) channel's broadcasts.

Comparing the audiences of ALGS: 2022 Split 1 Pro League regions on Twitch in November, we found out that over 54% of European viewers and more than 55% of South American viewers also followed North American games. Meanwhile, viewers in other regions had the least interest in South American league games — audience intersection percentages were between 0.3 and 1.1.
