Where to watch The International 2025 Regional Qualifiers — Dates, teams, broadcasts

Jun 12, 2025 2 min read

From June 4 to 17, Dota 2 fans around the world will be keeping a close eye on the regional qualifiers for The International 2025 — the biggest tournament of the season. While a few regions have already locked in their spots, the full list of participants is still taking shape. In this article, Esports Charts has compiled key details and links to official broadcasts so you can follow the qualifier matches live.

Valve remains the official organizer of The International 2025, just like every other edition of the tournament. However, the responsibility for running all six regional qualifiers falls to PGL. That means every qualifier match will be streamed on PGL’s official broadcast channels.

Regional Qualifier schedule:

  • June 4-8: Eastern Europe, South America;

  • June 9-12: North America, China;

  • June 13-17: Western Europe, Southeast Asia

Qualification broadcasts:

Many popular community casters are also streaming the qualifiers on platforms like Twitch, YouTube, and Kick. Streamers such as Janne “Gorgc” Stefanovski, Roman “Ramzes” Kushnarev, and Andrii “Ghostik” Kadyk have already hosted live coverage of some matches. You can find their broadcasts across major streaming services.

Qualification format

All qualifiers follow the same format: regional invitees and winners of the open qualifiers compete in a unified double-elimination bracket. The regions differ only in the number of participating teams, the presence of seeding, and the number of available slots — most offer one slot, except for Western Europe and Southeast Asia. All matches are played in a best-of-3 format, with the finals played as best-of-5.

Regional qualification winners:

The main stage of The International 2025 is set to take place from September 9 to 14 in Hamburg, Germany. The tournament will kick off with a $1.6 million prize pool and feature 16 competing teams.
