LEC Winter 2024 playoffs rematches draw fewer viewers than group play

On February 5, the semifinals of the LEC Winter 2024 upper bracket playoffs were played. G2 Esports played a crucial match against Fnatic, while Team BDS faced Team Vitality in a French derby — Esports Charts summarized the viewership results of the matches.

The French were the first to play the semifinal match, as Team BDS defeated Team Vitality 2-0 to advance to the next round, while Vitality will continue their fight in the lower bracket. This match gathered more than 323.8K Peak Viewers, while the game of these teams was watched by 330K PV in the group stage.

The match between G2 Esports and Fnatic, two of the most titled teams in the European region, rounded off the game day. The match also attracted fewer viewers than the same matchup in groups, as just 459.7K Peak Viewers tuned in compared to 487.1K concurrent viewers during groups. 

G2 Esports and Team BDS will meet each other in the LEC Winter 2024 winner's bracket final — their match is scheduled for February 12. Before that, the lower bracket matches will be held on February 10: GIANTX vs MAD Lions KOI and Team Heretics vs SK Gaming.
