Mobile Legends: Bang Bang unbanned after Trump signs Executive Order
One of the top Multiplayer Online Battle Arena games in the world, Mobile Legends: Bang Bang, has been restored in the United States, ending an anxious couple of days for fans as their favourite game is back online. Following its return to the country's market, players can now play matches and re-download the mobile on their devices.
MLBB was first hit with a suspension in the North American nation early on January 19 following the ban of TikTok due to "national security concerns", according to government officials. This was because Moonton, the game's developer and publisher, is a subsidiary of Chinese technology company Bytedance, the owner of TikTok.
While TikTok was reinstated via an Executive Order from incoming American President Donald Trump, MLBB continued to be out of service, causing worry among fans of the game in the country. However, soon after the business magnate's inauguration as the POTUS for the second time, Moonton's title was restored early on January 21.

A little later, official confirmation came via the game's official handles on social media. Moonton also offered players a small gift for the troubles they faced over the past two days. Alongside this move, the developer and publisher also restored any in-game rewards that would have been available during the temporary ban.
Readers must note that Donald Trump's Executive Order states that any ban on TikTok cannot be enforced for the next 75 days, which could also apply to MLBB and Marvel Snap, another game that was banned and then brought back. It also spells good news for the massively popular MOBA's upcoming esports season, with the year's first regional leagues set to begin in February.
