MPL Indonesia Season 15 hits new viewership peak amid RRQ Hoshi's undefeated streak
MPL Indonesia, the largest regional mobile esports series and one of the biggest in the entire industry, takes a three-week break on a high note, hitting a new viewership peak last weekend, surpassing 1.8 million concurrent viewers. The Mobile Legends competition still holds second place in the 2025 tournament rankings, but at this rate, it looks poised to claim the top spot by April.
The third game week was more action-packed than the previous two, with clean sweeps recorded in only two of the eight series. As a result, RRQ Hoshi remained at the top of the league heading into the one-month break, having won all five of their matches. By the end of week three, their entire roster was named as “Team of the Week” by event organizers. On top of that, two players took home individual awards: Said 'idok' Ridho was named MVP of the weekend for the second week in a row, and Muhammad 'Toyy' Rizky was recognized as Best Rookie.
On the other hand, Natus Vincere will need to seriously reassess their approach for the rest of the regular season. The league newcomers still can't find their rhythm: they’re the only team to lose all their opening matches.

In week three, the tournament's peak audience grew by 3.6%, reaching 1,841,268 concurrent viewers. This was the viewership during the RRQ Hoshi vs. Alter Ego series, where the fan favorites had to stage a comeback after losing the first map. In the end, RRQ won, and now the three most popular matches of the tournament all feature them.
RRQ once again proved that they are a key driving force behind the steadily growing viewership of MPL Indonesia. They’re currently leading by a wide margin in average audience across matches.
MPL Indonesia Season 15 heads into a three-week break after a solid first half, securing its place as one of the biggest esports tournaments of the year. With its audience continuing to grow, the league has narrowed the gap with LCK Cup 2025 and remains a strong contender for the top spot.

As MPL Indonesia Season 15 takes its three-week break, it does so as one of the biggest esports events of 2025, with a clear potential to reach even greater heights in the upcoming stages. With its impressive viewership growth and RRQ Hoshi’s dominant performance, the second half of the season promises to bring even more excitement and potentially record-breaking moments.
