Mobile Legends Professional League came to Cambodia — results of MPL KH Season 1
Mobile Legends Professional League is expanding its influence in Asian countries. Moonton has launched a new MPL league in Cambodia. In a new article, Esports Charts will review its results and compare with other regions of the league.
MPL KH Season 1 ran from August 28 to October 3. Eight teams in total participated in the league: BURN Gaming, Impunity KH, NewBlood, SEE YOU SOON, DG Quantum, FENNEC Esport, Notorious Angels and Walker Esports. The prize fund of the tournament was $40,000.

The tournament generated 1.3M Hours Watched for 75 hours of Air Time. Peak Viewers was reached during the Group Stage — 66.1K. The final between See You Soon and Diversity Gaming drew fewer people on broadcasts, only 59K Peak Viewers.
To understand the success of the event, we compared the Cambodian league to other regions. The debut season of MPL KH was more successful compared to MY/SG league (Malaysia and Singapore were one region until Spring 2021) in Peak Viewers. Cambodia was unable to bypass this event in Hours Watched due to its shorter duration.

Cambodia's performance was worse compared to previous seasons of other regions. MPL KH surpassed only MY/SG's sixth season by Average Viewers. Such a relatively low result can be explained by the fact that this is only the first official competition in the region, and the full picture will be seen in a couple of seasons.
MPL KH Season 1 was streamed on YouTube and Facebook. The vast majority of viewers followed the tournament on Facebook — the platform generated more than 98% Hours Watched. In terms of languages, Moonton provided streams in Khmer (98% HW) and English.
We will share the results of other MPL regions after their end, but in the meantime, subscribe to our social networks to know latest esports stats.
