Blizzard Entertainment announced that Overwatch League 2022 will feature community co-streaming for the first time in the history of the tournament. As part of the pilot program, creators are allowed to cast several matches of the Opening Weekend.

Streamers and creators that want to take part in the program can apply by filling OWL co-streaming form. On Thursday, May 5, starting at 3 p.m. ET/12 p.m. PT, applicable streamers will be able to cover the following matches on their channels:

Blizzard Entertainment will collect feedback on the program; the company also mentioned that it plans to develop this direction in the future.

OWL 2022 will run from May 5 to October 22, and the games will be played both online and offline. Recall that the event will be held on the beta version of Overwatch 2
